INTRODUCTION

Coorg, also known as Kodava Nadu is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometers (1,584 sq. mi) in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. Kodagu is known for its coffee and its people. The main river in Kodagu is the Kaveri (Cauvery), which originates at Talakaveri, located on the eastern side of the Western Ghats. Being closely nourished by Mother Nature, Kodagu offers beautiful landscapes, breathtaking views, waterfalls. It has been recognized as “Scotland of south Asia”.

WHEN TO VISIT:

On Season
With the temperature ranging between 15 *C and 25*C throughout the year, Coorg is a year-round destination. That said, October to March is the best time for adventure activities especially trekking. March and April are the favoured months to experience the valley shrouded in white flowers.

Off Season

The monsoon season lasts from June to September in Coorg and there are chances of heavy rainfall. However, the beauty of Coorg is certainly enhanced during this period! And also hotel rates drop down during this period
